My tongue is finally starting to feel normal and I was able to drink coffee this morning! Irritability and tiredness is starting to subside! Scary horrific! Not sure how well it actually worked after using for 6 months. Used for chronic pain related to C2-T1 lamenectomy and fusion. I would never take this drug again as withdrawal (yes withdrawal) is horrible and lasts for months. I tried to wean off it as doctor recommended. Even went so far as opening pills and removing half the med. Would never recommend due to issues with stopping medicine. Every side effect I had it. Nausea, insomnia, cravings, brain fog, loss of appetite, etc. On the medication - it really did help with my anxiety. I felt more at piece with things and less agitation. On the other hand, my pain and fibromyalgia got worse. I had complete muscle failures (went to the hospital multiple times) extreme fatigue (had to go part time), headaches and sensitivity to light, sound, etc. It would randomly come as well. I could have two good days and four bad days. Etc. So unlike me. Withdrawals - I weaned off the medication. Insomnia, ramblings, agitation, loss of concentration, nightmares (scary ones about real life, never in my life before did I have anything like this) and constant scratching. Omg the dry mouth this gives you is crazy bad! Throughout the whole experience. Also really had heart burn, constipation and general stomach issues throughout. | To be honest, this was definitely not the drug for me. The doctor thought it might help with the pain and muscle spasms I was having but it just made it worse. It's been six months of a nightmarish hell trying to get off of this drug . Anxiety , inability to sleep and insane night terrors. Everything I drop the dose I feel worse . Then after I adjust to the lower dose I begin to feel normal . Hoping to be completely off of it in a few more weeks . | This drug causes dependence. Almost impossible to get off of .
