It was given to me by my doc for my sinus during covid infection. Big mistake!! After my second time using it I began to feel strange, light headed, not what you want to add to covid! Woke up at night freaking out, measured my oxygen and pulse as you would if sick with covid and pulse was low and oxygen extremely high which is strange. My heart felt like it was gonna pop, I wanted to faint and vomit and was so scarred and uneasy. I had dealt great with covid and this stuff almost made me run to the ER in the middle of the night!!! DO NOT use this horrible drug !!!!!! One day later I'm cleared from covid and still shook up from this crap, hoping tonight isn't anything like the last!!! Oh yeah and although my sense of smell was fine during covid I lost it the second I tried this med the first time !!!! I do see slight improvements each week but it's very slow. I've started taking magnesium and vitamin B because Flonase depletes magnesium/ and potassium. One use in both nostrils made me feel like I was dying, which I'm not but it makes you feel like you're going crazy. Flonase numbs your septum therefore losing the ability to sneeze for a long period of time is very common. Please email me if you have any questions!! | You will get through this! I'm very calm and don't get angry easily but Iv found myself over reacting to the smallest things and snapping on people close to me. I take no other medications and today after my 3rd negative covid test in a row decided to check side effects of Flonase. Grateful for this thread. I can't believe this drug is sold over the counter. I wish I had never taken it. If you're predisposed to anxiety and depression like myself, it's not worth the risk and in general I'd say this isn't a safe drug for anyone to take relative to the wide range of possible side effects. I started taking it 2 years ago the Dr. recommend this for allergies and sinuses problems. I can believe it took me this long to realize all the problems I been having it was because this crap I started with heart palpitations, pressure in my neck, high blood pressure really bad vertigo I ended in the ER twice and I started to notice every time I take it I was feeling anxiety and I had panic attacks.
