| 3 | Runny nose and coughing | I didn't know what was going on, aggressive, felt out of it, and not my normal self. Weight gain and just depressed. I use to feel happy go lucky and have fun talking to people, but not anymore. Also bad insominia and increased urination. Eye twitching and bloated. | Threw this in the trash as soon as I found this website. I would rather deal with the allergy side effects and use my "Neil Med" sinus rinse that is non invasive. I wish I NEVER used this drug!! I'm not happy!!! Migraines got worse. I stopped on my own and went to my primary care Dr. and she said I had the classic case of steroid overdose and ordered blood tests. Stopped Allegra as of 1/16 and Flonase as of 1/18, already feel like a light switch was thrown! Seventeen hours after my last Flonase dose, I felt 70% more like myself; no more heart beat issues, no more anxiety, no more crying. Still having some tingling/burning/tickling. My boyfriend says I seem THANKFULLY much more myself today. His grandfather said Flonase made him feel the exact same way. I am beginning to wonder if this is akin to some weird allergic reaction? I took it back in the summer for a while with no problem then i went off of it because my allergies got better. I recently went to the doctor and she told me to start taking it again so i did and for the past two weeks i have been getting a sore throat, tingling on my tongue, cheeks and forearms, throat feels like it is closing tongue feels swollen and bad taste in mouth with white coating on tongue, I have also had bad acne on my cheeks which i do not regularly get acne, and it wont go away my face also looks fatter than usual and recently i woke up in the middle of the night feeling very anxious and scared and also had another episode of feeling anxious that lasted for about 30 to 40 min today so i googled flonase and tingling tongue and it braught me to this site i quit taking the flonase 4 days ago and already the tingling isnt as bad but still have side affects hope they go away soon i will no | F | 30 | 2 days 50mg 1X day | 1/5/2012 | 4 | Nasal Allergies | loss of smell | Concur with most reports of loss of smell. However, the effects of allergies leave me miserable and OTC meds are also problematic. Flonase helps me avoid attacks, but I only use it every 2-3 days as a preventative. If I forget, I get another nasal episode. In brief, my side effects are minor compared to a typical allergy attack. I should have never been prescribed this drug for 4 years, or even 1 year. It is a very invasive, potentially debilitating drug. Yes, it helped my allergies--but at a much greater expense than I was willing to take. I am now treating my allergies with diet, vitamins, homeopathic remedy, and lifestyle changes.
