2  Sinusitis, stuffed nose Brain fog, vertigo, fatigue, loss of concentration, loss of emotion, disconnected feeling, depressive thoughts, memory issues, and brain hangover feeling. I've taken this drug off and on for the past two years because it is the only thing that puts a dent in my congestion. After eliminating everything from my diet(artificial sugars, gluten, lactose, supplements, etc.) to see if there were other factors causing the reported side effects, I believe these items are all due to Flonase. And the funniest things is that almost ALL doctors I've spoken with say there are no side effects, and laugh off reported ones. Unbelievable. M 24 2 years

1  seasonal allergies, fluid in ears Extreme anxiety, night sweats, fatigue, insomnia, racing thoughts, lack of concentration, withdrawal from activities. My 16 daughter has been taking Flonase off and on for almost 6 years, she has seasonal allergies and fluid drains into her ears, she takes it to dry up the fluid in her ears. This past August/September she had a bad reaction to Flonase for about a month, I had no idea that the side effects she was having was connected to Flonase until I started to research on the internet. I have talked to few other people that take allergy medicine and had the same side effects. We took my daughter off the Flonase and all other allergy medicine and she is back to normal. F 16 6 years

Prescribed Flonase and the headaches are gone. Still have some stuffiness during the worst weeks, but I feel so much better.  1  Congestion, believed due to allergy Insomnia, irritability, racing thoughts, anxiety I've never had any issues with sleeping. I finally put the two together that this is the only thing new I've added to my life recently, it has caused me horrible unrest and insomnia. Difficult falling asleep and staying asleep. Causing me to feel miserable during the day and anxious but not able to nap either. I will stop taking it and pray that my sleep gets back to normal. F 55 12 days

1  Year around allergies Horrible anxiety!!!!! I thought I was losing my mind. I started taking Flonase for my year round allergies, and didn't think anything about it. A week after starting Flonase I started feeling anxious and scared. I really started to think I was losing my mind. I went to the doctor and she told me I had anxiety and prescribed me another med. It's an addictive mad so I didn't want to take it often. I even went to see a psychiatrist. It was a horrible time in my life. I finally ran out of Flonase with in a week and a half I was almost back to normal. I couldn't believe it. I was getting my life back. I then started getting allergies . The allergies were bad so I went to urgent care and the doctor prescribed me Flonase again. I told him what had happened and he told me that it wasn't the Flonase, so I started it again and within four days had a horrible anxiety attack. I knew then it was the Flonase and I wasn't crazy. This is horrible stuff. That was the worst time of my life and now I use Allegra-D and and my old self again. I think it should be taken off the market. F 49 1 years

1  Doctor prescribed for sinuses Extreme eye pain, and very heavy constant watering for almost 20 straight hours so far. Constant runny nose for same length. I've only taken this for two days after Dr. prescribed it for a stubborn sinus infection. In this short of a time I haven't noticed it really doing anything, but suddenly yesterday afternoon -- a few hours after the second day's dose -- the eye pain, watering, and runny nose began, and they have not stopped for one minute in the nearly 20 hours since. Benedryl did lighten the watering eyes and runny nose enough that I can at least see and breathe now, but it's still bad enough that I'm stuck in the house. I will NOT be taking this anymore!  1  Stuffy nose related to allergies I've been using Flonase for 7 days now. The last week has been rough. I have been feeling very agitated, moody, anxious and depressed. Also the fatigue has been unrelenting. I was seriously thinking today that I needed to go see my doctor soon because of all the extreme fatigue, depression and agitation all of the sudden. I just started thinking, what have I done differently...and the ONLY thing is that I started using Flonase the day before all of this started. Awful. I'll never use it again F 37 7 days

1  allergies "Idiopathic" cotton wool spot. No hypertension, diabetes, eye disease, cardiac disease, or any other underlying medical condition. Flonase was the only medication taken. Sure, it works for allergies (though it causes lesions in the nose) but retinal damage is too high a price to pay. F 48 5 days

3  Allergies I never take the time to write about products, but since I've been up all night again, I might as well. Since I've been taking it I've been exposed to a lot of allergens, my throat, nose, sinus' etc were really bothering me, so I gave it a try, my wife has some on hand for this time of year. I used it and immediately started having insomnia and rest leg. I would clear up, but I was up all night and day, it's pretty strong. Anyway that has been my experience, and I'm always thirsty. Could be a coincidence, but I don't think so. Hope this helps. By the way I stopped taking about 7 days after starting, symptoms haven't improved as far as the sleepless nights and etc goes, but I can breathe, that's nice. Probably works well for some. If you have no trouble falling asleep, I'd say give it a go, or if you are in bad shape and aren't getting sleep anyway, it's worth being up all night and able to breath, then stuffed up with cotton mouth all night. I can't sleep that great like that anyway. Hope this helps. M 35 7 days

1  stuffy nose panic attack anxiety and it made original problem 10 times worse when not taking it. It promoted the problem it was meant to help. It worked well during use , but not worth the aftermath This was a big wake-up call about why i had the strange feeling one night last week. it was a panic attack. jittery feelings that i have once in a while, probably coincide with its irregular use. I use it long enough to remember why i don't use it anymore, can be one way of saying it. After reading this, I will never take it again! M 56 2 years

1  Allergies/sinus pressure Lightheadedness, tingly scalp, brain zaps, pressure headaches, eye pain, eye sensitivity, vertigo (may or may not be related to the drug), heart palpitations, bad mood swings, brain fogginess, difficulty focusing during conversations, rapid eye movement I am SO happy I found this page! I have been taking Flonase for over two months, based on my ENT's recommendation, for constant sinus pressure. I have been experiencing lightheadedness practically all day, every day, since I began taking Flonase, but never linked the two together because my ENT ASSURED me that Flonase does not cause dizziness, and that it is so safe I could "take it every day for the rest of my life." All of the side effects I listed made me begin to think I had a brain tumor (seriously!). The dizziness began to depress me...I never felt "normal," which is difficult for someone who has fortunately lived a very healthy, normal life up until this point. This stuff is poison, and the makers of Flonase need to investigate all of these side effects. I went to their website first, where the side effects listed are LAUGHABLE. I am sending me ENT an e-mail about how wrong he was (he wanted to do surgey to corrected my deviated septum, which he was *certain* was causing my issues. I stopped taking Flonase three days ago and already feel SO much better. The eye pain and difficulty in focusing my eyes is still around, but getting better. Lightheadedness is almost entirely gone. I feel like I can actually play with my kids again. This stuff is the WORST (to repeat many other reviews). F 32 60 days
