Developed severe sinusitis two years ago requiring sinus surgery (FESS). Since that time, despite having been instructed by the ENT surgeon to continue with Flixonase, my symptoms worsened until I was forced to stop work, became permanently exhausted, and one year ago developed chronic, widespread virulent itching all over my body. After testing for every allergy imaginable, finally stopped Flixonase to see whether it made any difference. Energy gradually returned, itching has begun to ease and sleep has almost been restored. I notice now, having read more widely, that Flixonase SHOULD NOT BE USED FOLLOWING SINUS SURGERY. I wish someone had told me. So much unnecessary misery could have been avoided.
