LUPRON DEPOT  (LEUPROLIDE ACETATE):  Leuprolide is used to treat advanced prostate cancer in men. It is not a cure. Most types of prostate cancer need the male hormone testosterone to grow and spread. Leuprolide works by reducing the amount of testosterone that the body makes. This helps slow or stop the growth of cancer cells and helps relieve symptoms such as painful/difficult urination.  5  Endrometriosis Hot-flashes,moodyness,spotting I took this about 6 years ago and was able to conceive 2 children . I am just now in pain again. So we are trying it again. F 27 4 months

 1  Endometriosis/Adenomyosis Hot Flashes, Night Sweats, Insomnia, Memory Loss, Muscle & Bone Pain, Weight Gain, Headaches, Dizziness, Acne, Increased Pain, Extreme Fatigue, Swelling, Palpitations, Moodiness/Weepiness, Vision Problems, additional ovarian cysts I would think twice about taking this drug for endo, adeno, or fibroids. It only offers a temporary fix (if it works) & the side effects probably outweigh the benefits for most every woman. I still have 5 injections to go & may not finish them!! F 35 1 months
