CYMBALTA  (DULOXETINE):  Duloxetine is used to treat depression and anxiety. In addition, duloxetine is used to help relieve nerve pain (peripheral neuropathy) in people with diabetes or ongoing pain due to medical conditions such as arthritis, chronic back pain, or fibromyalgia (a condition that causes widespread pain). Duloxetine may improve your mood, sleep, appetite, and energy level, and decrease nervousness. It can also decrease pain due to certain medical conditions. Duloxetine is known as a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI).  1  Depression I started taking this drug for depression. Do not start taking it ever ! I felt good but gained been weight rapidly . No sex drive ! About three years ago I tried to get off of it. I could not function .. debilitating brain zaps that made me need to sit down . I was insanely dizzy and my eyes felt like they were wobbling in my head . I could not work. I had to get back on my 30 mg dose . This year I decided to rid myself of this poison . My NP had no clue how to help me get off of it . I stared taking 20 mg and this was easy then I after a while I went to 20 mg every other day . Then I stared counting the pellets and reducing the amount taken by a few pellets each week. It's been six months of a nightmarish hell trying to get off of this drug . Anxiety , inability to sleep and insane night terrors. Everything I drop the dose I feel worse . Then after I adjust to the lower dose I begin to feel normal . Hoping to be completely off of it in a few more weeks . This drug causes dependence. Almost impossible to get off of . NEVER start taking it. 54 7 years

 1  Depression A fib heart rate 126, my normal is 60. Dry mouth night mares constipation or diarrhea. Depended on what day it was Nausea, stomach pains. Brain zaps. I went To dr and she set up all kinds of heart tests. I decided it was the meds. I was on death's door step until I took the matter on my own hands. Quit this killer drug. BAD DRUG. 74 0 days

 1  Depression, anxiety Alcohol, cigarette craving. No libido delayed ejaculation total anhedonia, numbness everywhere and agression. I lost weight on it. I was mean emotionless robot and changed it to wellbutrin... my life is perfect again! 27 2 years

 1  Depression fibromyalgia Sudden extreme nausea and sweating and I felt a body high that was very uncomfortable. Considering the many other meds I am on for other chronic issues I am going back to predictable Wellbutrin - and a therapist for my depression instead of staying on this 64 1 days
