| 2 | ovarian cysts | worse mood swings, gain of cup size (A to B, with awful stretch marks), weight gain, no change in cramps | I was put on the pill after having three ovarian cysts, all requiring an emergency room visit, and some combination of percocet and morphine. The last was a cyst complex and required overnight hospitalization. I have not had any cysts while on the pill, but none of the other benefits I was promised (less acne, cramps gone) have occured. In fact, I get my period more often now - was on a five-week cycle, now it's barely over three.
