Please think 1,000 times before taking this pill, because the risks far outweigh the benefits! | My daughter, who is 30 and was a perfectly healthy non-smoker who exercised, had been taking YAZ for three months when she started having pain in legs, sensation of almost-cramp in calves, followed 2 days later by chest pain and difficulty/pain when expanding her lungs. I thank God we went to the ER when we did (day before yesterday) and hope she will have no permanent damage from this criminal drug + the treatment she will have to undergo with blood thinners for the next six months. I knew I h | I did not start having side effects from Yasmin until I had taken it for about a year, so after 1 year of taking it with no symptoms, it did not occur to me that Yasmin was causing these side effects, until I got so frustrated with everything that was happening to me and I looked online and finally after searching and searching for answers I found this site. That is when I stopped taking Yasmin. Then later I actually found out a friend of mine was also taking Yasmin, and she and I had the exact same symptoms. We both stopped taking it and our symptoms slowly when away. It took me a really long time to get my body feeling normal again, around 4-6 months total. My advise for anyone taking this is to stop taking it right away.
