It became like spotting for a little bit, then turned to a heavy period. It freaked me out so much and I stopped it two days ago but the period is still here. This pill may be great for some and bad for others. Also, all you tend to hear on these type of sites is the bad, not the positives. These 5 times, the pain would not go away for 4-8 hours. The only thing that really helped at all was extremely hot rice bags, so hot they would practically burn me but even that was better than the pain in my chest and back. Had what seemed like severe and constant indigestion. Ate a lifetime supply of tums to get me through the workday. More teary and sensitive while on Yasmine. | At first I thought I was doing fine with it...I had heard about such awful side effects from the pill that I was pleased to have found one that didn't cause me any problems, aside from severe dizziness the first couple of days I took it. I started taking it 3 months before I got married and wound up in the ER two days before my wedding having multiple tests run on me only to have the doctors say they were unsure of what my problem was except that I had a high lipase count (one of your blood counts). Had to take high dose pain meds during the 5 times I had severe attacks (which seemed to be food related but which I never had before taking this pill). Silly me...it didn't occur to me until after 5 huge attacks and a year on the pill that these food allergies started at the same time I started taking the pill.
