Things got worse when I STOPPED; the weight gain continued(I gained 20-25 pounds since stopping). Nothing is making this weight budge and I've been off for 4 months now. I registered complaints with Berlax Labs and the FDA. I suggest anyone displeased with this horrible pill do the same. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a class action law suit brought and I would be one of the first to jump on that bandwagon. I believe that the advertisements are misleading and very dangerous to women, especially younger women. I do have to say that it does shorten your periods and is great for us girls who have horrible cramps. However this year has been a different scenario. I, being the procrastinator I am, waited several months before I went and got my yearly physical, and went back on Yasmin. Upon taking it for the first 5 days I have been sick every day. I puked two days into it, and have had diarrhea and upset stomach, as well as breakouts (I've never had acne) and odd discharge every day since. I don't know if it's related to taking Yasmin or from giving birth 2 months before starting Yasmin. I've never been on Yasmin before and I was not on bc before my pregnancy. So far, I am very satisfied that my periods aren't as heavy and painful as they used to be. I used to be wrapped in pain for 3 - 4 days without being able to function normally. This started again after giving birth, so my doctor suggested Yasmin for the pain and of course as a birth control.
