| 1 | RA(Rheumotoid Arthritis) | August 8, 2014, feet and ankles swollen with edema so bad I could hardly walk, short of breath, pnumonia, extremely weak, feverish, chilling to the point of shaking, went into a coma on August 15, 2014, near death experience, septic shock, sepsis. Pain level has increased 100% from before. Did injection myself because my Doctors told me just to read the instructions and because I was a nurse I would be okay. This was my very first time using a biologic drug and was not shown or taught how to inject myself. Now I have made 6 trips to the emergency room because of low back pain. The doctor I seen on my last visit to the ER told me it was Sciatica. I could have hit a nerve doing this injection myself since I was not taught the correct was to inject this drug. Now I am down with the Sciatic Nerve in my back, have lost control of my bladder due to the pressure from the sciatic nerve. I will never be the same! This is a dangerous drug and needs to be taken off the market! Was fine after the injections. Started feeling flu symptoms. Not myself but nothing major. 4 days later i start feeling absolutly awful. Diorea. Being sick. Feverish. Weak. Deep muscle aches in lower back and lower legs. Bruising on my legs. Chest tightness. Heart palpatations. And severe dizzyness. Was literally having to keep myself from fainting. Worst bit of all was that i rang the emergency line and they told me to go straight to a n e and i was left waiting for two and a half hours and when i got seen i just got told to go home and ride it out. When i finally got an appointment with my dermatologists they told me i should have been seen straight away and not let out of hospital. This drug could have killed me. And they have now told me i can not take it again. This was on August 15, 2014. I was unresponsive and don't remember anything until I woke up at eight minutes after midnight on August 17. My two sisters in Heaven came to get me and then my oldest sister said I had to come back, that I couldn't go with them right now. This is when I woke up! I was released from the hospital August 17 from pneumonia and on August 18 the nurse calls me to tell me that one of my blood cultures was showing preliminary positive. I asked for what? She said Dr. Nathan wanted me to come back into the hospital. I did not go this day . The next day, August 19, Dr. Nathan calls herself telling me I had Sepsis and needed to get back to the hospital as soon as possible! I did not hesitate because I'm a nurse and I know I could be dead anytime! I reported to the ER where they took me straight back to a bed. An IV was started and as soon as the IV antibiotics came from pharmacy. They were started! I was in the hospital 4 days taking different antibiotics . I went into a coma, died and came back and had Sepsis from this drug. I'm still having problems.
