5 | Crohns | Humira is the ONLY medicine that has helped with my crohns! | F | 34 | 2 years 40 | 3/4/2015 | 1 | RA | Injection site rash, face and neck rash, night sweats, headache now going on 4 weeks, feel tired always. | Be very very careful about the Humira Co Pay plan - They will drain you HRA and or HSA getting their money. False advertisement saying get Humira for $5.00 a prescription. DO NOT TAKE | M | 53 | 6 months 40mg 1X O | 3/2/2015 | 2 | UC | I didn't have any negative effects but I didn't have any positive effects either. This medicine just didn't do ANYTHING for me | M | 17 | 6 months 40 mg | 3/1/2015 | 5 | Chrons | I was so sick for so long nothing seemed to work, my flare ups was creating me to stay in the emergency room time after time with dehydration immediately after starting Humira I saw results I feel so much better...Life is GOOD | F | 52 | 1 days | 2/25/2015 | 5 | Reactive Arthritis/ AS | A little tired sometimes, had pneumonia | I love this stuff ! I feel like I'm 20 again, it's huge to not feel sick all the time and just have a break from something that had me "disabled" | M | 51 | 1 years 40mg 2X M | 2/21/2015 | 1 | Psoriasis | Never would have taken Humira if I was told my psoriasis had the possibility of spreading. My dermatologist said I could have an increased risk of infection and getting cancer. However, I know there are treatments for those illnesses and with psoriasis there is not a cure as of yet. Originally, I only had psoriasis on my hands and feet for 4 years. I had a bad flare up on my feet which caused cracking and bleeding making it difficult to walk. I was willing to try anything to alleviate the pain so I tried Humira. After my 3rd injection of Humira the psoriasis spread to my arms, legs, and back. HORRIBLE experience. The best advice was from my primary doctor who told me to try putting on steroid cream on my feet then wrapping them in Saran Wrap and wearing socks before I went to bed. Miraculously that worked to reduce the plaque and stop the cracking. I even wrapped my feet in Saran Wrap and cream during the day because it was so painful. My skin is still red and very thin on my feet, b | F | 38 | 6 weeks 30 1X O | 2/21/2015 | 5 | ulcerative colitis | headaches | all symptoms are gone. I got my life back. Eat whatever I want. | F | 50 | 4 months 40mg 2X M | 2/18/2015 | 2 | Ankylosing Spondylitis and Crohn's | I only had two injections. Seemed to be going fine. I did have an irritating headache after each injection and was washed out for two days after both injections. These seemed reasonably manageable. UNTIL 4 days before my third injection was due I woke up covered in unbearably itchy hives. Huge welts all over my chest, arms, neck. Saw rheumatologist and was told I was having an allergic reaction and had to stop Humira. Bad news for me because I also had an allergic reaction to Remicade. Dr now wanting to put me on Enbrel and graduate me to Cimzia. Not sure, after two allergic reactions, whether I want to go on any more biologics. I wish these drugs weren't so nasty. | For those who can take Humira without experiencing side effects good luck to you. I wish I was one of them! | F | 42 | 28 days 40mg 2X M | 2/13/2015 | 1 | Ulcerative colitis | 2 infections, one almost immediately after second dose of humira. Prolonged fever of unknown origin for going on 21 days and counting. | THIS DRUG WILL KILL YOU!!! DONT TAKE IT!! RUN!!! Your autoimmune issue will be the least of your worries. Biggest mistake ever!!! | F | 70 | 3 weeks | 2/7/2015 | 3 | psoriasis | 20lb+ Weight gain and increased HA1C/ pre-diabetes. | I'm surprised that weight gain isn't a documented side effect. | F | 47 | 10 months 40 mg | 1/27/2015 | 1 | RA | August 15, I went into a coma ; had a near death experience and Sepsis! I have ongoing problems from this drug! | Do Not Take It! Death waiting to happen! | F | 65 | 1 days 40mg. | 1/26/2015 | 3 | Psoriasis, + Arithis | Worse Pain, Muscle loss , | Cause And Effect==== Hmm! how long do you got to live on this Med, im tired, | M | 46 | 7 years 2X M | 1/25/2015 | 1 | psoriasis | shortly after 2nd dose experienced fevers and infections. now have widespread vitiligo and fevers 3 months after stopping treatment. this drug needs to be taken off the market. made life a living hell | M | 41 | 2 months | 1/25/2015 | 1 | Rheumatoid Arthritis | Acne on upper back and face - never had this before - this symptom started immediately after beginning treatment; itchy all over - maddening - started about a year after therapy began; terrible fatigue, started immediately, lasted all the time; post nasal drip, runny nose, all my allergy symptom, for which I'd been treated for 4 years for with an ENT doc - prescription allergy drops (instead of weekly allergy shots), didn't work anymore - because of the Humira!; and the icing on the cake: peripheral neuropathy in toes of both feet. Lightning bolt-like pain in toes that once subsided just burned. Toes are numb and tingly now. I had the symptoms for almost 1/2 year before I put 2&2 together, like an idiot. Researched and learned Abbott Labs is being sued by many patients alleging that Humira caused permanent peripheral neuropathy. I'm kind of disgusted and worried - Humira blocks the cells in the body that fight disease - the TNF - tumor necrosing (killing) factor - so Humira limits | At first, minor side effects were a reasonable trade-off, I thought, for pain relief. Now that Humira is interfering with my 4-year allergy therapy and has caused nerve damage in both feet, it's time to draw the line. The pain in my fingers wasn't that bad - certainly not worth trading permanent numbness/tingling and stabbing pain from nerve damage in my feet for. Not cool. | F | 57 | 2 years 40 mg 1X W | 1/6/2015 | 5 | Crohn's | I take 1 40 mg injection weekly. Works great for my Crohns, but the side effects get worse the longer you are on it. Muscle and joint deterioration, rashes, sore throat, sinus, low vitamin levels, and fatigue. Almost at the point of stopping the drug. Just want to feel semi normal again. | F | 50 | 6 years 40mg | 12/29/2014 | 5 | Crohns | Have been taking for many years with no issues. As time goes on I have adverse effects to the medicine. Helps the Crohns but the side effects, i.e. flu like symptoms, joint pain, sinus infection, and fatigue. And every shot more side effects every shot. | M | 46 | 6 years | 12/18/2014 | 1 | Rheumatoid Arthritis | This medication caused a kidney disease. I did not have any kidney problem before taking it. It is a listed side effect 5% chance. It happens. | It works well for many, just be aware that the side effects can happen. | F | 50 | 8 months inject 1X W | 12/18/2014 | 1 | UC | Joint pain, fatigue, night sweats, severe joint pain, raised liver enzymes, shortness of breath, weakness, zero stamina | This drug is pure evil and should be removed from the market I was on it just under a year and felt worse and worse with each injection. Zero improvement of "UC" if that's what I have. I just got back from blood work they are now testing for lymphoma, TB, and leukemia, liver and kidney damage-all from the cure. This should be remove immediately from the market due to the raised cancer risk alone not counting the rest of the side effects. It's a shame that the Drs push thus knowing how dangerous it is and when a person is miserable from a disease you will do whatever they say. I will research like crazy before I take any more "cures" like this. As with most drugs about to get yanked off the market there is a commercial blitz as you now see with Humira. | M | 51 | 10 months 40 | 12/13/2014 | 5 | Ulceritis colitis | Headaches | I am officially in remission very satisfied I am able to go out with my family again and feel normal! | F | 49 | 6 months 40 mg 2X M | 12/11/2014 | 5 | Crohn's Disease | Just recently muscle and joint pain, sacroiliitis in my pelvis and lower back. | I was in the middle of a major flare (pain, GI bleeds, no sleep, no food for about two months etc) that had been ongoing for three months. Two days after the initial four shot dose, pain and bleeding was gone and I felt 100% better. Now after three months, I'm having chronic joint and muscle pain. Mostly in my lower back, pelvis, shoulder and neck. If it gets much worse, not sure if the Humira is worth it. But it def "cured" my CD. | F | 33 | 3 months 40 | 12/11/2014 |
