Nothing I can't tolerate. I wouldn't even call it pain-- maybe discomfort. | Humira has been wonderful for me. At first it totally cleared me. Now, it has come back a little bit but nothing like how it was before I started the injections. Now I just use my tazorac once a day and it keeps it under control. The injections are NOT as painful as some comments you see on other boards. Those comments terrified me and I am a big baby. I swear, it doesn't hurt that badly. It stings like any other injection. Absolutely leave it out for 30 minutes tho. This Drug can be very slow in showing these conditions but DRs should KNOW that they could be the culprit . I was also on Methotrexate but dropped it after low blood counts were presenting . I stopped the Humira after the Metho because the conditions were still there and getting worse. It's been almost 2 months since stopping and I can see a small improvement everyday . I can only hope I haven't hurt any major organs with these drugs. Looking back I should have been smart enough to stop at the facial rash stage but joint wise I felt good. I started to get better around the 7 day mark, but now 1 month later, I STILL have signs of infection (swollen glands and severe post nasal drip). I also started breaking out about 1 week after starting Humira, like a teenager again. I find that I am more tired than usual as well. Although this has helped keep me in remission, I do not think the side effects are worth it. I was able to control my Crohn's on my own for 3 years, and only flared up due to extreme stress (which has now subsided). I have not taken my Humira in 4 weeks and my Crohn's is still in remission.
