Within an hour I was doubled up with severe stomach cramps that felt like hot knives being twisted in my tummy. A hundred times worse than menstrual cramps. I was literally crying with the pain after just one dose and I usually have a pretty high pain threshold. My mother, who is a nurse, told me to stop taking them immediately. Pain took about 3 days to subside. I've never experienced heart palpitations until recently.. but I've noticed them when I heard an unexpected noise... like my husband opening the door. In the past I may have jumped a little bit but the sensations I've been getting the past few days are on a totally different level. I'm taking a 500 mg ery-tab 2x daily. I'm around 110 pounds so I'm thinking the dose may be too much for my body. Starting tomorrow I'm cutting my dose in half. Yesterday I suffered from dizzy spells closely followed by my first migraine in 11 years! I am going to stop taking it and go back to the doctors. The only upside of this medication is that it really does work and fast. After only 12 hours of taking it my tonsils have halved in size and the swelling in my glands had gone completly.
