Wind, Vivid Nightmares, and fever. | This is my second dose in 3 weeks as the first lot did not clear my infection, felt fine the first time, but after starting the second dose yesterday, today I have struggled with simple day to day stuff. My parents had to take my daughter for the night as I struggled to move, When I went out after feeling fine today with my daughter, I suddenly forgot where I was, and how I got there. Then I struggled with how to walk, it was really surreal. I have experienced nausea in the past from erythromycin, but on subsequent occasions, took probiotic capsules and also made sure food was in my stomach (not necessarily a full meal) and the nausea did not occur. This drug has helped me a lot in the past. At the moment, I am on day 3 of a one week course, and the first 2 days I felt so hungry I thought something was wrong with my blood sugar. Today, that has subsided. I have a few tummy gurglings, and some loose bowels, but nothing that cannot be coped with. I found that taking the medicine just after I started a meal helped, as did staying upright and distracted by something for 30 mins after taking it. I tried a probiotic yoghurt as I was feeling so unwell (usually dubious about these things) and I felt so much better, it sorted out the painfully swollen stomach and to some extent the nausea. I have slept better with my head slightly elevated with one extra pillow (so three in my case).
