My target INR is 3.5, which may explain the unpleasant side effects. When my INR is at target range, I do not suffer strokes, TIA’s, or clotting near the valve, which is a blessing. But, high fluctuating INRs, do cause frequent internal bleeding episodes. Because I work full time, this is a major inconvenience. At this point, I have no other choice but to continue this medication.
