I was terrified of the possible side effects with vision so I have yearly eye exams. I used to get constant fevers, mouth sores and pleurisy. Since beginning the Plaquenil, all of this has stopped. I only need 200mg a day because of my weight (130 pounds). I was told the higher the dose, the greater the risk of eye problems. Endep and Celebrex were prescribed and they have definitely helped as has a product called 5-htp which I purchase from an Internet company iherb.com.
