On day 2 I felt worse, I felt this heavy pressure in my chest & I was struggling to breathe. I took my inhaler & it wasn't helping. I was soo out of it that I didn't even want to talk. I thought oh no I hope it isn't covid 19!! I decided to look up side effects & found this forum. Thank God it isn't just me. I will not take another one of these otc pills for acid reflux again, I will stick with tums. I have PTSD & high anxiety which didnt help matters any but, I have to say this is truly scary having serious side effects like this for a medication that is supposed to be for acid reflux. I'm perplexed | scary side effects. I had success for the first month and a half and then it all fell apart. I was not able to figure out the Pepcid was causing all of these horrendous side effects for quite some time. Been off for a month and still not back to normal. The burning and muscle aches have improved but the heart racing and anxiety continue. And now bouts of dizziness have begun.
