Am I just suffering with side effects? I have anxiety and panic attacks so I am always cautious when taking anything new. First day I felt extremely exhausted and dizzy. Felt out of it but no gi upset so I thought maybe it was just my sinus infection. That night I got a massive headache, sweats and sinus pressure and horrible neck pain. Again, thought it was infection. Next day I felt so out of touch, exhausted, extreme body aches, neck ache, dizziness and the ear pressure and ringing was awful. By the second night, massive dizziness, ringing in ears, couldn't hear right and very weird feeling...threw me right into a panic attack. I flipped. Didn't take my pm dose. Cried my eyes out. Next am, took half of a pill to test how I felt...headache, ear pressure and anxiety, loopy, exhausted and achey all over. Stopped taking on day 3 pm dose. Called nurse and she basically thinks I'm just nuts. Now today, headache is gone, hearing is back, no ringing or pressure, no body aches but I did have diarrhea and some anxiety. Probably getting all getting out of my system. I will never take this again and I am not finishing the prescribed dose of 875 twice daily for 20 days before ct scan. Way too aggressive for sinus inflammation and infection. | In one day, sinus infection was knocked out but from that point forward...my body felt like it was being overdosed. Last week I was given it for the flu and terrible sore throat. I took the first one and in 2 hours I was terribly nauseated and threw up. The doctor thought it was the Tamiflu rather than the Augmenti. This week having a diverticulitis issue I was prescribed it again. Two hours later the same thing. Terrible nausea and threw up.
