The sinus pain is no where near as bad as these side-effects. I can tell it was clearing up the infection, because I lost that "sick" feeling. However, I didn't feel that great because of the abdominal pain. Though, on day 11 (today) that "sick" feeling has returned. I'm emotionally exhausted from being so ill, and I can't tell now if that sick feeling is from the medicine or stress. TAKE PROBIOTICS WITH THIS MEDICINE! I was given a strong probiotic to take, took it this morning and effects were IMMEDIATE. Abdominal pain has been at an absolute minimum today. I had diarrhea on days 2 and 3, but began probiotics, which eliminated the diarrhea. Day 5 I began to get red, itchy eyes that would not clear and post nasal drip. Day 6 I noticed blood in my stool and I decided to stop the drug. I lasted 7 days of a 10 day regimen. I've read the horror-stories here, but overall I think I tolerated it well, and for the relief I've had for the last week or so - it was well worth it.
