I think that's due to the diarrhea though. However it does lower the A1C and you will lose weight but you have to weigh pros and cons here I think. All I can do is sit and suffer until it passes, which can take until the next day. I cannot do anything. I was supposed to take a .50 shot yesterday, but I decided to quit taking this medication. So now I am 1 week since my last dose and sicker than ever. Does anyway know how long it usually takes for the side effects to go away? Basically the healthier u eat the less the side effects are. The loss of appetite / cravings is very strong. I have to make myself eat and nothing sounds goods. I typically eat around 800cal per day and nvr feel hungry. As a result I have lost 22lbs in 3.5 months so far. I've not experienced any positive results at all. This has impinged my quality of life & for the sake of loosing weight it's not worth feeling lousy all the time. Am going to press my internist to take me off this gif awful "medicine."
