One of them mentioned that it is very important to know if we might be deficient in Vitamin D, because if we are, it could cause bad side effects. My doctor had not tested for Vitamin D deficiency, so I assumed I might be deficient. I decided to fight this thing, if I could. I went to a good health food store and the owner sold me 1000 mg pills of Vit. D, along with a better multivitamin. In summary, "some patients have reported complete relief of symptoms after discontinuing the bisphosphonates, whereas others have reported slow or incomplete resolution. I began taking percocete for TWO weeks because of unbearable pain as soon as I tried to get out of bed in the am.
