After a few days pain spread from pelvis down thighs and legs overnight. Next day, severe pain of legs and headache, went to ER. They felt it was vaginal infection plus UTI, so prescribed Macrobid again. I only continued to feel WORSE, severe burning leg pain, needed help in and out of bed, severe migraine, nausea, vomiting for a couple days. I had no idea why I felt this way, full body aches, flu-like symptoms. | I stopped taking the Macrobid after the second time around, 4 days worth after reading about possible adverse reactions. Went to primary MD who agreed it was probably the Macrobid that caused inflammation of the nerve endings. 3 weeks later I am still in pain, groin and bottom mainly, plus numbness of that area & have had difficulty urinating! I am going for an MRI this week. But I still had severe side effects, anxiety, weakness, etc. I slept for days and missed work. It's not been almost a week and I'm still having side effects. I can't eat, when I do I get severe stomach pain. I also have a cold, so the fatigue could be due to that. Macrobid took the burning away and didn't give me the shits or panic attacks.
