I didn’t connect it with the meds, and started taking ibuprofen. After the second dose, I took more ibuprofen and went to bed. Woke up about 4 hours later with a severe headache, nausea, and debilitating pain down the left side of my neck into the shoulder and upper back. Low grade fever even after a steady diet of ibuprofen. Neck pain was so bad I actually cried out a few times when I tried to move or a muscle would spasm. I tried topical pain relievers and a heating pad, but nothing helped. I considered going to the er but didn’t want to be moved. I took diclofenac and an ambien and survived the night. I stayed away from Bactrim and most of the symptoms improved over the next day, but 3 days later I still feel like a balloon is inflated in my abdomen. No pain, but rumbly, gassy, and protruding.
