Than after 4 days the tightness got progressively worse and gas with bloating went up exponentially . I also noticed my pulse was slowly increasing each day. One morning I woke up with my heart beating at 130 bpm. It stayed around 115 bpm all day. Before taking omeprazole my heart rate was always 65 to 75 bpm. I also experienced ringing in my ears which felt slight swelling. I stopped taking omeprazole after 7 days. So far after 5 days after stopping my ears and pulse are now back to normal. Im still experiencing some gas but much less than before. I still have the cramping and back soreness. Im praying it goes away soon | Avoid omeprazole if you can.
