Severe neuropathy from head to toe,muscle damage,collagen loss,blurry vision,double vision,black spots in my vision, autonomic dysfunction with POTS now because of it,heart issues,anxiethy, nighmares,severe insomnia,dizziness,off balance, can hardly not stand up,light and sound sensitive, hearing loss that comes and goes, can not think straight,memory issues,severe brainfog,slurred speach,swallowing and breathing issues, loss of hair,cracks in my nails, weight loss, stomach issues, my blood vessles do not function as they should,headpressure,ear pressure,spine pressure, tremors, spasms,seizures,muscle jerks severe pain all over body and more. | This antibiotic destroyed my life and health. Do not take this poison. I am submitting additional comments. | In between metronidazole doses, I took one 100 mg capsule of thiamine hcl on the first and third days, and one 50 mg capsule of thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide (TTFD) on the last day. I thought it would be important to add that because taking thiamine while metronidazole was in my system may have made things worse for me. On the days I took the thiamine, I felt a strong pressure on my temples. However, I've seen other people report that they developed dryness everywhere from metronidazole and I doubt were taking thiamine at the time. I am not discounting other patients as everyone reacts differently to medication. I am also on Doxycycline 100 mg for 10 days. I have noticed a bit of nausea here and there and I always eat something around the time of consuming so not sure which antibiotic is really causing this. My breasts have been somewhat sore as well as cold chills occasionally but it's winter and definitely a bit tired. ( all antibiotic's make me tired though) I had cosmetic dentistry done 7 years ago on my two front teeth. I have had nothing but problems with the root ever since. I now wish I would have never let the dentist convince me to do it. My teeth were great before this. ( I just had a small space that I wanted to close) I have tried clindamycin and amoxicillin and neither worked for me so praying this helps so I don't need invasive treatment. I am terrified of letting dentists touch my mouth after the experience. I think from reviews a lot of people on here are extremely allergic to this medication. FLAGYL (METRONIDAZOLE): Metronidazole is an antibiotic that is used to treat a wide variety of infections. It works by stopping the growth of certain bacteria and parasites. This antibiotic treats only certain bacterial and parasitic infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections.
