The green stoll definately caught me off gaurd because I've not eaten anything green in two days. It does work but if there was an alternative, I would request it. I've noticed a lot of posts note increasing sensitivity to the side effects. I didn't notice a bad taste but I do think things taste funny. It's even worse because you know it will make you sick soon after you take it. It took a few days, but now I'm using a few tricks that work great. Buy empty pill capsules from a pharmacy, and stuff the pills inside them. No bad taste, and it takes a bit longer for the nausea to hit. My GI doc also gave me Tigan, an antinausea drug, to take with each dose of Flagyl. What a difference!!! The first few days were absolute hell, but now it's no big deal. I felt like i was poisoned or something. I knew the med was strong, but wow. I think you can avoid severe side effects by drinking plenty of water, even though this stuff makes everything taste like you're taking another dose.
