I believe this is because I take 100 mg 5-HTP, valerian, and melatonin every night. It works and is available through major drug stores and is very safe, although I recommend purchasing the valerian online as it is much more efficacious, and in fact all of these are quite a bit cheaper that way. It's also bizzare to say but, "my shit doesn't stink" ... literally. I suspect the Flagyl is removing ALL bacteria ...both good and bad. If you have diverticulitis you certainly want (and need) to be aware of your stools. I did and ended up waiting a week to take my prescription, when I could have already been better.
