My advice...STAY AWAY FROM THIS DRUG. | While on Zetia, I thought that I was losing my mind. I could not stay focused,depression set in. I could not find a reason why I was depressed, unhappy, moody, irritable and felt somewhat sucidal rather than tolerate the pain. Now a year later I have finally stopped this medication on my own. Liver functions are a bit high as well as glucose. Severe dry throat has improved, not totally resolved but definitely improved within 2 weeks of stopping Zetia. The cramping in legs, feet hands and arms have improved after being off this medication for 5 weeks. Also numbness and tingling improved. Will give this several more months to see how I am feeling.
