| 1 | Sinusitis | Was put on a 10 day course to treat a sinus infection that I (admittedly) put off treating for longer than I should have. Everything seemed ok for the first couple of days; the sinus pressure did alleviate. However, in its place has been a constant feeling of being off-balance (not quite dizziness, because nothing is spinning), weakness/fatigue, no appetite, sudden increases in heart rate, shortness of breath/tightness in my chest, and an increase in anxiety (usually related to the symptoms listed above.) I ended up going to the ER because I was convinced that something was wrong with my heart; all tests came back normal. It was only after googling side effects of the amoxicillin that I put two and two together. | I'm supposed to take two additional doses before I go back to the Dr. for a follow-up about the sinus infection. I will not be taking them. At this point, nothing can make these side effects worth it. I stopped the treatment and took keflex instead which worked better, but I now have low grade anxiety that hasn't seemed to go away. Now five weeks on, I still have brain fog and pains behind eyes, and just feel I have no energy and still coping with anxiety which I have never had before in my life. I have just started my second month course of max strength probiotics which I hope will help me get my life back. All my life I have trained and worked out daily and kept fit.
