I had a tooth extraction five days ago and began taking this prescription. After the first dose I had a panic attack. I suffer from anxiety anyways but this was totally different. Burning sensation in chest and arms. I was supposed to take it for 7 days, 4 times a day but stopped at 5. Super emotional! This medicine is scary to take! I'm skeptic of "big pharma" and this experience didn't help! I've taken this before with no problem! Scary stuff! I honestly did not have much side effects and when I did have them it was extremely mild. Cleared up my infection by day 5. What I do recommend is doubling up on probiotics and making sure to take this antibiotic on a full stomach! Or while eating a full meal. I noticed that when I took it on a empty stomach or with a snack I would have some mild nausea. Do not be afraid to start this antibiotic unless you know you have side effects with antibiotics. Take with a full meal, take probiotics (I recommend Florastor 3x daily and a probiotic once a day 2-4 hours after) and drink tons of water. Decided not to take the last two pills after losing my appetite and having very mild nausea after taking a dose on a empty stomach.
