I'm freaking out and have my second appointment next week. The spotting is still there and I'm not due for my period until next week. I'm on birth control and I usually don't start spotting till the first sunday-monday (2 days) before my period is due. So weird. When does it stop? | F | 61 | 5 days 5 ml 1X day | 9/1/2020 | 3 | Yellow discharge | UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW The awful thick yellow gel discharge lasted just over two weeks and would probably have lasted longer but on one occasion, there was so much that I scooped it out (I know I shouldn't have but was so uncomfortable!) The amount varied from day to day with some of the worst days nearer to the end of the two weeks. Just when I thought it was stopping, off it would go again. Been clear for two full days now so fingers crossed it is finished. On the plus side, it seems to have worked but I am definitely not a fan of this medication and would be very reluctant to try it again. Annoyed that the side effects seem so common but nothing mentioned on the medication leaflet about it. If it did, it would be far less scary and stressful for the patients using it. So I get an email from the pharmacy saying I had metrogel, and a yeast infection pill to pick up. NO CALL FROM DR! The first dose made me cramp and very uncomfortable in my vagina. So that was very alarming but since my dr didnt call me with my results I felt like I couldnt call to ask. After my second dose, the clumps are coming out bigger and more often. Its really gross and scary. Literally looks like mushy half cooked pink hamburger meat. No smell. And thats the only discharge I have if thats what you would call it. Ive been googling for 2 days and came across this forum which is the only place Ive seen similar things to what I have going on. I do think I feel better after the second dose but this tissue Im passing is starting to concern me. | Ive taken the Bv 7 day pills before, never the gel and Ive never had this happen before.
