I figured out those steps from other things I read on the internet. No dr. suggested it but boric acid helps keep ph low and peroxide kills yeast and is made naturally in the vagina. I wasn't able to follow the dr. suggestion of two five day treatments with a 3 day break. I did 3, got my period, got the infection symptoms back, then I did 4 days of metro gel. Last dose was 3 days ago-no infections symptoms.
