| 5 | HSV-2 | Never had any. | Valtrex changed my life. I used to have monthly OB, which ended completely after starting taking the drug. I tried about 4 years ago to wean myself off to just treating the outbreaks but I was getting them too frequently when I stopped the Valtrex completely. I have never had any side effects and this medication works well. I just have breakouts a few times a year if I start missing doses. Otherwise, it works great. Before I started taking this drug I was having 1 or 2 outbreaks per month. Not fun. When I take it exactly as prescribed I might have one outbreak per year. It was thru the roof!It didnt correlate to my lifestyle. So i came on this sight and did some research and found a bunch of side effects that MANY other people were having that were not listed. SO i am stopping this drug immediately and will deal with my OB in a natural way with, lysine, oil of oregano,etc. I welcome any comments or feedback on this.
