1  High cholesterol. Stroke Severe pain in legs and hips. Legs gave out due to pain. Fell and hit head. Ended up in wheelchair for 6 months due to pain. Pain was nonstop 24 hours a day. Pain so bad unable to relax bladder to urinate. The worst pain ever. Still on pain meds. This started 2 years ago. Unable to drive and go to bathroom by myself. Don't know if I'll ever recover.  1  Heart attack I decided to read about Repatha reviews from patients. My mother is 84 years of age. Some of her medications required changing dosage, changing medications, etc, etc. Her Cardiologists recommended Repatha. My mother is extremely sensitive to medications. I did not think this was a good idea considering once the patient is given the injection, your stuck with side effects which can be immediate and takes time to eliminate from your system. Sure enough this is exactly what happened. My mother has had so many side effects. And, this has only been from just ONE injection!!!! SEVERE back pain, muscle pain, cramps in legs, weakness in her legs, nerve pain, tightness in chest, Severe fatigue, can barely speak from fatigue, blurry vision, depression, memory loss, runny nose after eating, dizziness, ringing in ears, she is feeling a strange sensation from her brain? Severe weakness throughout her body. She is still using a walker. A few times, she complained of tightness in her chest and was af F 84 1 months

1  Very high cholesterol No side effects until after the 4th epipen shot (8 weeks). Then terrible hives on my backside and both arms. My arms are still peeling and very scaly/dry. It has taken almost 3 weeks to get a big improvement and two doctor visits. It lowered my cholesterol from 250 to 139 but I can't experience hives and rashes like this. M 63 2 months

4  Heart disease Reoccurring feeling of fatigue, weakness and jelly like feeling in legs. Runny nose when more active, at times get slight dizziness, walking on any given day with a feeling of imbalance. These being the most notable more frequent experiences. There had been the ocassional tight upper chest feeling. Intolerant to any Statins. Lipitor being the worst! I am on a plant based diet for the last 3 years and both Repatha and diet plus regular exercise have kept my cholesterol under control. I am pleased in reading that my symptoms are in line with many who also use Repatha and in not this being another problem. All considered. The bennefit outweigh these symptoms that i feel i can cope with much better than the aweful statins that i used to be on. The alternstive is not an alternative for me. I rather be around longer. At least i know now that fatigue is caused by Repatha. M 67 4 years

1  CAD, CABG, Statin intolerance Crippling stiff muscles and joints. Moderate to severe muscle pain esp. in legs, hips and glutes. Foot pain, muscle spasms, shakiness, and weakness. TMJ pain, neck pain and stiffness, headaches, back pain, upset stomach, and diarrhea. Depression and anxiety. I was prescribed Repatha after open heart surgery in March 2021. My first dose was around May 1 of last year when I started Cardiac Rehab. That's when I noticed the pain in my hips and thighs. I had a past history of other drugs masking the effects of statins a few years back, I was concerned it would happen again. It did. The past 8 months have been hell. I had to put my TMJ therapy on hold. I had my lower back freeze up in October for a week. Mistook the side effects for withdrawals from Lyrica and Clonodine (off now). Had a visit to the ER in Jan. for chest pressure (no heart problems found). Was treated for reflux. The pain in my body exploded in Feb. when I got sick with Covid. Everything hit the fan.The shaking and anxiety was terrible, I was fighting panic attacks all day. So I'm going off my Calcium channel blocker to eliminate that drug. That leaves the Repatha. I woke with severe muscle cramps in my calves after my last injection last week. Yesterday I researched the side effects and found these reviews. I don't know if there is anything I can take that won't cripple me. But I'm done! I'm told I need to stay active but right now that's not happening. Walking is getting harder. It took 10 months to get my LDL down to 68, but now my triglycerides are 249!. I think my immune system is fighting this medication.I recommend if you try Repatha, make sure you are not on other medications that can mask its effects. That way you won't be on it very long. So did total Cholesterol and triglycerides dropped too. I had a eye stroke from cholesterol blockage so decided to try Repatha. Can't take large statin dosing. Was aching earlier in treatment, some fatigue, causing weight gain. Not sure, may have other allergic reactions too like stuff nose, dry throat. Sure worked on LDL though! M 64 6 months

1  choles Awful!!! Felt like I was 100 years old. Nerve pain, back pain, joint pain, weakness, depression, forgetful, low energy, shortness of breath, major fatigue. Before Repatha I felt pretty wonderful even after having open heart surgery a year ago. This drug has really set me back. I just hope the damage is not permanent. My Cardio took me off and said from some the side effects and long term damage is not worth the benefits. He put me on natural alternatives since I can't take statins either. Bergamot, Red Yeast Rice, and Plant Sterols. This has been a nightmare. This drug is dangerous and should be taken off the market. F 69 4 months

Rash, runny nose, ear congestion, hair loss, leg cramps in the middle of the night, random itching on legs, UTI had to see urologist which costs me over $600.00 with insurance!!! Blurred vision and terrible night sweats and hot flashes out of this world. It really put me back into menopause.I have no doubt about it. Eight months after only two injections, and I still not 100% Should be discontinued. Terrible drug. F 62 1 months

3  Familial Hyperlipidemia Side effects became worse the longer I took it. Weak, dizzy sick and in pain. Internal organ pain:stomach, heart, pancreas, kidneys, back, legs, arms, brain. Migratory. Joint pain: all but not usually all at once. Diabetes. Neuropathy. Now: 8-week flu/respiratory infection, I practically drown in secretions. Tested negative for COVID at hospital urgent care PSR and three other tests all negative. No one in family caught. Not COVID. . Throat swelled shut for seven hours. Hard to breathe. Dizzy. Extreme fatigue. Sore throat. Contiguous nasal discharge to the point of filling my lungs. Could not sleep or lie down. Fear of dying. This is the second time this has happened but this was more severe. I am vaccinated. Docs gave me propofol for sedation-but combined with this it was horrific. It almost killed me. Doctors are unaware of this. Mono. Lowered cholesterol but not worth dying for. F 62 2 years

2  Familial Hyperlipidemia Pain, shortness of breath, mimicking virus similar to COVID. I am vaccinated. I'm surprised this didn't cause a MI! Cholesterol can be controlled with a plant based diet. There a number of books out there on this. My mother did it. One is: Forks over Knives. Other books in store or online. Cholesterol can be managed with a plant based diet. It's not easy but I think better than this by far! Book store or online! F 62 2 months

1  Can't take statins Couldn't walk very well. Couldn't bend over. loss of muscle strength in arms and hands. Kept dropping every little thing. Stuttering, vision loss. Nerve pain in my body and feet. Muscle tightness. Memory loss Took a shot once a month for approximately six mo. Removed myself. Doc refused to write down side effects and insisted it wasn't the repatha because "it had no side effects." Three ingredients and one would eat your flesh should you touch it. I stopped the medicine and am four years out of a triple bypass. . I still don't walk very well. I'm very stiff. Excercise and stretching doesn't help.nerve pain never went away.
