The hospital doctor felt it was a coincidence that I got sick after starting Repatha so on 1/5/23 reluctantly I took a second dose. Today 1/9/23 I can only walk 15 minutes on the treadmill because I get so short of breath, I’ve gained weight, my energy is low, I’ve never had trouble with my bladder before… now when I have to urinate I urgently have to go, this is getting better thank God. My quality of life is diminished. This drug has a half life of 11-17 days so it could take 2-3 months to get this drug completely out of my system. It’s been scary and a really bad experience. I researched this and found a case study of a 57 year old Women with the identical symptom as mine due to the Repaha. It is a relatively new medication but suspect more and more people will surface with the same complaint. Similar as it was with the nasty Statins. If you have these symptoms, then you know now what from. I refuse to take them. There is no point addressing one issue and creating another serious one. I am on a Whole Plant base diet. Been on it for a few years. Within 15 minutes my brain start crackling and then my eardrums sounded like they were exploding and went into torturous pain. It cause a blood vessel to bulge like a balloon up against my ear drum. | It was in 2017 I had taken Repatha and for six years I have had to living with my right eye mainly blind and I had permanent hearing loss in my left eardrum. I was mainly a healthy person with 20/ 20 vision and I was a professional audio engineer. After that injection of Repatha, ended up in the emergency room , lost most of my right eye sight, lost the ability to hear high frequencies, causing me not be able to hear the frequencies string instruments. The blood vessel that ballooned and is pressing on my eardrum causes a continual ear ache 24/7. After all these years, my brain became num to the eardrum pain so that is now bearable. This drug is a very dangerous drug and can cause a short term serious cognizant problem where you might have short term memory loss. It caused me to completely loose my memory for a short period of time. This drug really needs to be taken off the market, In 2017 my doctor that had prescribed Repatha, wanted to log enter into the national database for doctors to report my allergic reactions to Repatha and there was no way for a doctor to report on Repatha.
