Manufacturer's info sheet says Nasacort is 8 times more potent than prednisone! I had terrible withdrawal symptoms for several days after using Nasacort for just 3 days. The doctors will say none of this is possible with nasal sprays. The med. actually drips down the throat and into the stomach where it is apparently absorbed.
