| 5 | Acid | I took esomeprzole,which is NEXIUM, I took it for 3 years , it got worse and worse! Depressed, fatigue, my jaw started to hurt, I had face numbness, my eye lid started twitching, I thought at times I had Alzheimer's, it was so bad! My chiropractor did blood work and my B vitamins where so low , magnesium Low, I'm on so many pills now trying to build up my Bs and magnesium! I got post nasal drip since Covid that lingered for two months and dr. Put me on this thinking it might help. It wasn't until I found this site to think that it was the meds causing my issue. I'm throwing the rest of it away and telling everyone I know not to take it. I would literally rather have the awful heart burn and acid reflux than to ever feel like this again. Still worried I'm gonna have a heart attack in my sleep, I'm afraid to even GO to sleep! Can also make you magnesium deficient in a hurry which I think is part of the problem I'm having currently. Started taking supplemental magnesium @ 250mg a day and so far (knock on wood) it's helping a little.
