Experienced severe joint pain. Switched by oncologist to Aromasin. Experienced trigger finger in both thumbs, frozen thumb, can't walk on my feet in the morning. Accupuncture helped the fozen thumb (avoided recommended surgery)and is somewhat helping the feet. Age 66 but feel as if I'VE AGED 20 YEARS. | This Rx may be a life saver, but as an estrogen blocker, I am philosophically against it, because I think a woman needs her estrogen every day. Given the side effects of all 3 drugs I've taken I would like to stop all Rx. Trying not to be stupid though. | F | 66 | 1 years | 3/8/2006 | 3 | stage 3 breast cancer | joint pain in thumb, return of plantar fascitis, reduced hot flashes from tamoxifen, memory fuzzy, ? skin rashes?, shortness of breath, but it's hard to pinpoint aromasin as THE cause. | skin rash appered shortly after started taking it, thought it was something else, but have no other explanation for rash, which is spreading. ditto for thumb pain- in joint/tendon. otherwise, it seems easeir than the tamoxifen. | F | 45 | 1 years | 2/16/2006 | 3 | breast cancer | lethargic, feeling of fullness, short term memory loss | it is difficult to know effectiveness since only taking it for a short period & also may have interaction with other medications that I am taking. | F | 72 | 1 years | 9/24/2005 |
