| 4 | Anxiety/Depression | Sleepy at first but it went away in a few days. It's helping a little bit with my anxiety. (So far) | Busbar seems to be a good treatment- along with my Wellbutrin. I'm waiting on the weight gain..... | F | 53 | 3 weeks 15 3X day | 7/25/2020 | 5 | Anxiety | Dizziness | This medication is amazing. I had horrible anxiety that prevented me from doing everyday tasks. It even began making me physically sick and put me in the hospital with chest pains, headache, nausea, and loss of appetite. I would worry about simply things like what if I slip in the shower or what if the house catches on fire once while I'm asleep. But after taking it my worrying decreased by almost 100 percent brought back my appetite and gave me the most vivid dreams(almost movie like). | F | 18 | 0 days 5 mg 2X day | 7/20/2020 | 3 | Anxiety | Foggy brain, tired, body aches, irritated easily, no emotion | Day one I felt great had no side effects nothing, second and third day I felt terrible as if I had a bad flu. I tried to not take the medication but decided to anyways and made me feel worse. I have zero emotions, I feel like I'm in a constant daze and my anxiety is somewhat better but not sure if it's due to the fact I have zero emotion. | F | 34 | 3 days 5mg 1X day | 7/17/2020 | 4 | Anxiety | At first made anxiety worse, headache, nausea, shaky feeling inside but got better after 2 weeks. Dizzy is still there, starts about an hour after taking it. | I am still not sure about Buspar. My anxiety is better but I can still feel it there. Going to keep taking cause it can take weeks for full effects. I have to say it has improved my life somewhat. Side effects come back with dosage increases. | F | 58 | 30 days 10 3xday | 6/1/2020 | 4 | GAD | Drowsiness when you first take it (but wears off in about an hour), tingling in my hands, some memory loss, heightened anxiety AT FIRST. | This medication helped me immensely. The side effects were a breeze compared to my initial anxiety. I would take it all over again if I had to. When you first start the medication it is normal for it to heighten your anxiety a little. Your body and brain goes into a sort of shock. After about 3 weeks the medication sets in and you can literally feel the relief. It's like all my anxiety slipped away. This was a life saver for me. | F | 24 | 8 months 10mg | 5/23/2020 | 2 | Triggered Anxiety after head injury | Week1: Headache, dizziness, fatigue, gastrointestinal issues, brain fog , bad dreams week2: headache subsided , minor dizziness, jittery increase, depression starting, zombie like, bad thoughts, grumpy all the time . Felt like I wanted to jump out of my skin. Discontinued after 12 days. | I was prescribed buspar for anxiety related to a brain injury . I was prescribed 5 mg morning and night. I cut the dose in half because I'm highly sensitive to medication. Thank goodness I did . This medication does not work for me although there are many people that seem to thrive on it. I have stopped taking it and have returned to feeling like myself not a crazy zombie as someone else reported. I think you have to try something to see how it works but to me it felt like being poisoned . Again , for some people it works So I can't say it's a terrible drug. Just that it is for me . | F | 56 | 12 days 5mg | 4/17/2020 | 2 | OCD | Tinnitus, off balance feeling, brain fog, cold feet, muscle soar ness, increased anxiety after initial decline | First week was good, second anxiety was back and dizziness/off balance feeling, now moving into the third and having all kinds of side effects, will be going off it | F | 29 | 18 days 25mg | 1/27/2020 | 1 | Anxiety | Sleep not racing thoughts out of body brain zaps no confusion | F | 73 | 4 months 10 mh | 1/19/2020 | 3 | Anxiety, panic, | I have felt tingling in my fingers and head, just weird symptoms, | Buspar does help with overall anxiety, and panic. It calmed me down and helped me sleep. I was told it was not addictive. After three years of taking it I started getting mild flu symptoms. These steadily increased. I talked to my doctor and we decided to come off the Buspar to see if it was responsible. I quit taking it and the next day I had the worst flu I have had in awhile. Stayed home for two days. I went back on the Buspar and got better, but still had moderate flu symptoms. We decided to slowly decrease dosage. I've been off for almost a month and still have headaches, body aches and nausea, but they are SLOWLY improving. This is a hard drug to quit for me. | M | 51 | 3 years 45 MG 1X day | 9/30/2019 | 5 | Anxiety, panic attacks | None | It’s working. No panic attacks, fewer heart palpitations, better handling stress.
