It did help to alleviate the uti pressure but it was a trade off and the uti persisted after I stopped taking Macrobid after 7 doses of the 10 prescribed. | I do not drink alcohol or take illegal drugs of any kind. I eat healthy, am overall very healthy with exceptional uti. No issues with amoxicillin or doxycycline type antibiotics in the past. Prescribed Microbid and I knew after 2 doses that something was wrong. Took completely as directed. Not a good experience and I can tolerate a lot. This medication was worrisome, not a good experience.
