| 1 | UTI | I was really scared to take this after being prescribed for a UTI and reading the reviews. I decided to try it anyway and see if it would work for me. The first few doses were fine, I just got progressively more tired and bloated. As I continued to take it, I developed bright yellow urine and headaches. After the 6th dose, I started having a burning sensation in the soles of my feet, as well as numbing. This is what worried me as the side effects listed in the pamphlet that came with the drug mentioned nerve damage. The rash has spread all over and I have it on my face as well. Still have headaches occasionally, but not so severe. Also not able to sleep for long and still having the dreams. Two days left and I came down with the flu symptoms all over again. Everything I mentioned above. I am going to take my chances and stop taking this drug immediately. Mainly after reading the comments on this site. I can't believe an antibiotic could cause these kinds of symptoms for so many people!! Fortunately, I am usually able to take any drug without any side effects. This is now going to be on my “allergic to” list. I never would've known this drug was causing these side effects for not having found this site, which is terrifying. | Granted, a lot of the side effects people talk about are listed on the paperwork that came with the script. However, it definitely does not give a complete picture, nor does it go into any detail about the severity of these side effects. I do believe after reading all of these comments that maybe this drug needs to be reevaluated by the medical community.
