Its been a month.. and my taste sensations have improved but still... taste seems off. I’m really scared this is permanent. Some days my taste is stronger and some days it isn’t. I also used the dyna-hex 4 topical on my skin. I broke out in a rash after 2 days. I was told to wash my skin with it for 5 days before surgery but I stopped after 2 days. I told them and showed my rash but no one thought about the same stuff was put in my mouth when I arrived for surgery. I had no ideal that the mouth rinse that they give me to use right before surgery had same ingredients. I am afraid this is not going to go away. I clocked exactly how long it was in my mouth with the stopwatch on my phone - dropped down from 1.5 minutes to 1 minute. 2. immediately took a wet cloth and wiped off my lips after putting mouthwash in mouth. 3: timed exactly 1/2 hour after using mouthwash to brush teeth. I think doing this reduced the problems others are experiencing here. I am also wary of those good rating reviews - just think about it for a minute. Do you really search internet to post glowing reviews of a mouthwash you just used, especially on a site that has so many complaints? Usually, with use of mouthwash, if it's good you move on and don't look for sites to post it. After researching this product I immediately threw it out and began using warm salt water as a rinse after brushing...my mouth already feels better. I have also been experiencing an acne-like allergic break out across my jaw line. Will not be continuing the use of this product and do not recommend it to anyone. I'm thankful I decided to look into it and found this page as it's clear that the majority of patients who have used this rinse have had extremely negative experiences. Dangerous stuff.
