No side effects at all this helps settle my stomach when dealing with an ulcer We just put the pill in the syringe with a little bit of water and make a slurry out of it, and it works wonders coding my stomach

Anxiety , dry mouth , dizzy , chest tightness, fatigue

It has a bad taste I also leave a metallic taste in my mouth I have been on them for about 2 wks now no change I am going to try something else

Dizzy, memory problems, horrendous back pain on right side upper back and rt shoulder

Stomach pain

I had surgery with strong antibiotics which apparently destroyed my stomach, causing severe bloating and pain and excess acid production and after over a week of misery I was prescribed Carafate. I noticed worsening nausea when first starting Carafate so took only 2 times a day instead of 4 times as prescribed. By day three epigastric pain was really bad, eating felt like I was swallowing rocks, and after eating I would get very strong nausea waves and what felt like cramps in my upper and lower G.I. My pain was so much worse on day three of the medicine and nausea so bad when attempting to eat that I decided to stop taking it and the next day the pain was much lower and was able to eat without nausea. I really think I have an intolerance to this medication and I feel better without it. I'm relieved to see I'm not the only one who had a bad experience.

I was dissolving the pill in a small amount of water and drinking the slurry at my doctors advice because of swallowing difficulties.

Anxiety, dizziness/lightheadedness/weakness in arms and legs (after meals and after breastfeeding), weight loss, heart palpitations, loss of appetite, extreme warmth in stomach after meals, stomach pains, pain under rib cage.

This drug had such horrible side effects for me. I think the coating of the stomach affected my nutrient absorption. Because I had horrible dizziness as if I would pass out. This happened after I would eat and while breastfeeding when my blood would move and it was frightening! I felt so shaky, lightheaded, fatigued and extremely anxious. I really wanted to be on this longer since it helped the reflux symptoms but it was awful.

only took 1 tablet, Immediate BOWEL MOVE 2X in an hour. ANXIOUS,Extremely DIZZY, BAD STOMACH PAINS,BLOATED,HEART PALPS,LEG CALF ANKLES, TINGLING,SWEATING,BREATHLESS!! DO NOT TAKE THIS!

TOOK 1 tablet WITH 2 BOTTLES OF WATER AND HAD Immediate BOWEL MOVE 2X in an hour! ANXIOUS,EXTREMELY DIZZY,BAD STOMACH PAINS, BLOATED,HEART PALPS,LEG CALF ANKLES ARE TINGLING/BURNING, SWEATING,BREATHLESS!!

Dizziness, nausea, headaches, lightheaded, palpitations, anxiety through the roof.

I am stopping this. I can't handle feeling lightheaded and anxiety so bad.

Soreness in the left rib area and top of stomach.

Abdominal pain and bloating,dizziness and severe shortness of breath almost 2 days since I have stopped and I continue to have these symptoms.Has anyone else experienced this?If so how long before resolution of these side effects?The breathing difficulty is the worse.

It did take away my terrible gastric pain in the center of my abdomen. But on day 2, I started feeling achy all over. I didn't think anything of it but on day 3 OH MY GOSH! All my neck, shoulders, back and hips were just so painfull. I feel like an 80 yr old! I just texted my doc and she told me to stop taking it immediately. Every time I move my whole torso feels like it is going to snap. I hope this pain goes away by tomorrow

No more for me...I'm allergic.

Constipated, anxiety

Seemed to feel better in the beginning , but noticed my anxiety was getting worse, hot flashes/cold chills, insomnia, fog head, heart palpitations, elevated Blood pressure, abdominal pain, dry mouth, shaky ! Can't focus , tired. Feel like crap.. I'm done with it.

Severe neck and back pain

No more stomach pain since taking

Less hr of sleep , anxiety , stomach pain ,vomiting and nauseated

Thus meds doesn't help me

Terrible back and hip pain and insomnia. I was only getting 2 hours sleep a night. My back pain was excruciating and brought me to my knees. Had to stop as I could not function with the pain

Horrible experience. Constipation, difficulty burping, nausea, sensitized my duodenal canal, anxiety, tingling and muscle problems on my back. Stopped taking, so far getting better.

Severe dizziness, heart rate up, headaches

I have had heart surgery in the past and i literally thought my heart was messed up again - this stuff has caused me several trips to heart doc and i thought i was dying ! never again
