| 1 | UTI | I have recurrent UTI's and have been prescribed Bactrim twice. First time caused extreme nausea and I was vomiting for 12+ hours after 5 days of taking it. Now it's the second time it's been prescribed to me and I stopped taking it after 3 days (I had 7 days of pills total). I stopped after I started getting migraines and was feeling extremely nauseous again. I was suffering from fatigue and felt very weak. I felt so sick and was scared my infection was getting worse. It's been about 2 days since I stopped taking it and I still feel terrible. I still feel tired and weak all the time. I'm also still experiencing some flu-like symptoms. Pretty sure Bactrim gave me a yeast infection too, which I am now trying to treat along with my UTI. | I really advise you not to take it. I don't even think it's worth a try. There are better and safer antibiotics out there for UTIs. I never used to believe these reviews/comments until I experienced it myself. I also never had bad side effects from other antibiotics until Bactrim.
