| 4 | Pain in back and neck | Nausea, itching, restlessness | I was on Hydrocodone for more than a year, and then the prescribed dosage stopped working. My doctor put me on Percocet, and it works great. I have to take 1/4 or 1/2 a tablet at a time, otherwise I become nauseous and experience a feeling I can only describe as being poisoned. Sounds horrible, I know, but I'd rather feel that than the pain. I recommend not taking the medicine before bed. I have been prescribed 7.5 mg extra strenght. I weigh 105 lbs and must have a predispostion to high tolerance becuse my husband weighs 205 and was in la-la land. I have never taken more than 4.5 per day and that has to be a bad day. You have to learn about your own pain. If you take it every dingle tim eyou have pain, you will become tolerant and yet, if you wait until the pain is unbearable it will not wrok effectively. I have never had any withdrawal sympots when I have gone off of it, but again, seems like I am resilient.
