Percocet only made me drowsy, but I had no other psychological side effects. It works great for me. I never take the full prescribed amount unless I have a headache, I just cut the 5s into halves or quarters. It's just enough to take the edge off, but not enough to make me not functional. I find it much more effective than anything else I've tried. It's short acting, so if I do err and take a little too much, I know it will wear off soon. Just recently I had to have my dose adjusted from 5/325 to 7.5/325. If taken as needed, and NOT for getting high it is very effective. These kids that come on here and think its a joke taking precocet should be banned. It only hurts those of us who rely on this drug to get through the day.
