2 | pain from foot surgery | anxiety attacks, constipation, shortness of breath, stomach "churning"; insomnia | It did help the pain, but I would never take it again under any circumstances. | M | 60 | 2 days | 2/17/2006 | 2 | Breakthrough pain from AS | Flashes of light in my peripheral vision. | Although it works better for the breakthrough pain from my ankylosing spondilitis than Norco I don't use it because of the light flashes in my peripheral vision. Took it for one month then went back to Norco. | M | 38 | 1 months | 1/10/2006 | 2 | arthrosopic knee surgery | took one in the recovery room on an empty stomach. proceeded to vomit for the next 9 hours (about 20 times total) until it was out of my system. so much for my stomach of steel!! | possible allergy to codeine... ya think?? | M | 37 | 1 days | 2/6/2006 | 2 | Knee Surgery | Nausea, the worst headaches ever, fever, dizziness | I was not a fan of percocet. I was told it was stronger than Vicodin, so I divulged myself in taking it, but experienced some of the worst headaches I have ever encounted. I was on and off it for about a week only taking maybe two pills a day. | M | 23 | 7 days | 2/6/2006 | 2 | Back injury | Dizziness, migraine, slight hallucinations, uncontrollable shaking, blurred vision | M | 17 | 2 weeks 330mg | 12/10/2011 | 2 | Ligament Surgery | The pain relief was about a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. But it made my entire body itch incessantly, it made me depressed, killed my appetite, and stopped up mu internal plumbing for days. Simply not worth it. Switched to Aleve and haven't looked back. | M | 30 | 3 days 30 4X day | 10/18/2010 | 2 | Kidney Stones | On the plus side, it worked very well for the pain. On the minus side: About half an hour after taking, I would fall asleep. I was itchy all over, but particularly on my back, under my arms, and my lower abdomen. It has caused severe constipation. It's been six days since a bowel movement. I stopped taking the drug, I'm so backed up. Now that I've stopped I have a severe headache and INCREDIBLE anxiety about everything. I never felt this before. It's torture. I'm hoping this passes in a few more hours. | Be VERY careful with this drug. It's obviously not for everyone. | M | 56 | 5 days 5-325 2X day | 7/14/2011 | 2 | Head injury | After two doses I had an extremely disturbing hallucination that led me to believe I was dying. Four days later, I am still experiencing atrocious nightmares, something I never suffered. | M | 56 | 1 days 15 4X day | 3/20/2010 | 1 | Post-Op Heart Surgery | Horrific Hallucinations | I was given a low dose Percocet in ICU the day after my heart valve surgery and I experienced horrific hallucinations every time I closed my eyes for about six hours. I was convinced that I was seeing Hell. The experience was so bad that I was afraid to close my eyes for over a week. I am now four months post surgery and I am still mentally traumatized by what I saw. | M | 48 | 1 days Minimal 1X day | 7/15/2010 | 1 | post ankle surgery | extreme anxiety, panic attacks | M | 32 | 2 days | 11/1/2006 | 1 | Kidney Stone | A seizure, muscle twitching. People around me thought I'd died. | Is the worst medicine I've ever had in my life. The pain of the kidney stone was gone in one minute, but 30 minutes later I had a seizure that made me bit my tongue, twitch my legs and arm muscles and fell unconscious. The doctors then told me I was intolerant to opiates NO WONDER!!!!! | M | 31 | 1 days | 5/23/2006 | 1 | cancer | I think taking 50 miligrams of codeine is far better of a high | it sux and it makes you wanna die | M | 81 | 3 days | 1/13/2005 | 1 | Total knee replacement | I only take them when the pain is unbearable. It stopped the pain - BUT - severely impacted ability to sleep. When sleep finally came I had bizzare nightmares, waking up in a panic and shouting. Needless to say, trying to work the following day was a disaster. It has happened 3 times - I'll not take another one. | M | | 1/23/2009 | 1 | Low back disk/stenosis sciatica | Constipation, Driving through red lights...... | I just had to get input on this drug. This "Opiate" had NO, ZERO, NADDA, effect on real deal back pain. My back pain laughed at this drug as it bent me over every day squirming in pain. I could take a fistfull of these, blow out my liver from all the acetomeniphen, and my back pain would rage on like nothing happened. I really can't understand why this is an abused drug...??? I got no so-called "buzz" or "euphoria" just steady stabbing pain in my back. The kind that makes you lose your breath. I might do better with booze than this stuff. I guess if you like to feel ever so slightly floaty, then this baby is for you...!!! Go right to the epidural into the spine.....15 minutes and you walk away.....unbelievable...!!! | M | 58 | 30 days 5/350 3X day | 5/15/2013 | 1 | Severe pain | Causes severe shortness of breath. And anxiety. | M | 62 | 2 months 40 mg | 2/18/2016 | 5 | Interstitial Cystitis/ Severe back | No side effects which is why it was the perfect drug for me for pain relief | Now Percocet is BACKORDERED?! I haven't been in this much pain for over 10+ years!! What is going on?! You never will understand pain until you're in it. All the ppl who abuse it RUIN IT for everyone else. | F | 44 | 10 days 10 6X day | 7/23/2023 | 5 | Migraines and Restless Leg Syndrome | Calm happy feeling, pain relief! | I suffer from migraines and RLS. I spent many years going to different doctors and got handed drugs that either didn't work or worsened my conditions. I had tried everything, even Botox for the migraines, but still didn't get relief. Then one day, a doctor wrote me a script for Percocet, and it has greatly improved the quality of my life. It is the only thing that takes away the persistent pain of migraines and RLS. It does give me a bit of euphoria, but I only take my pills as needed and don't abuse the prescription. I wish people didn't abuse these, as they can be very helpful to people who legitimately suffer from chronic pain! | F | 25 | 2 years 10 mg | 7/21/2017 | 5 | Back pain | None. Tired sometimes | They take care of my pain. I take them as prescribed. I don't abuse them. | F | 71 | 0 days 10/325 | 8/31/2017 | 5 | Spinal Stenosis,Herniated Disc | In the beginning I had slight nausea. It passed quickly. | Percocet is the only drug that has helped my pain. I have been suffering for 10 years and finally this is working. Now with the new laws they want to take it away. Pain is a terrible thing to live with and until you are in such pain you will not understand. | F | 58 | 2 years 10/325 | 1/20/2019 | 5 | Back surgery | Please take with food or anti nausea med.those that stopped because of stomach sickness should ask doctor for zofran.really good pain med | F | 60 | 6 months 10mg.x6 | 2/7/2019 |
