| 1 | Crohn's arthritis | I have terrible nausea and headache I feel anxious and agitated and my stomach hurts. I don't feel any benefit and i have to increase by 3 times. I feel fatigued and really down. There us no benefit to my symptoms probably too soon for that. I really can't tolerate the side effects. I would not recommend this medication. I need to contact gp and rheumatologist. This feels toxic. | Very toxic even the smell and taste. I want to stop this and would not recommend. Really worked well for the joint pain, brought the inflammation down too. Heartburn, mouth feels dry and swollen around the lips. Teeth feel dirty all the time, and super dry mouth. Urine smell was pretty bad. | Had to take the tabs with food to help with nausea. Careful taking with carbs/milk and any acid food. Was living on tums and mylanta. Mouth and lips feel odd. Very dry mouth. Fingers have been developing dry peeling patches. Not sure if it is because of the meds. I decreased the tabs to 1 am and 1 pm, and 2 month later thinking of going to 1 pill at night. Unfortunate side effects because the pills really worked well for the pain and swelling in my joints. The newer medicines could be bad for my liver. I went to arthritis doc and my blood work came back negative but he prescribed me this drug. I stopped drinking and feeling joint pain end of January. I felt it really wasn't helping much but I had the side effects that a lot of others had... but I continued to take. My doc wanted to up the dosage because I was taking less than normal 2 a day and he said normally it's 4-6 pills a day. I told him I'll stay at 2. Well I started all this in may. Come September I missed a dosage but my joints were feeling better. So I stuck with 1 pill. Several weeks go by and I'm still good. I emailed my doc and asked if I needed to wean off and he said no you can quit whenever no need to wean. So I did... ever since I've quit I feel okay but disassociated with life. Almost how I felt the first two weeks after starting this. I've gone to the docs for annual and blood work is all fine. | My blood press is back to normal, I did get a UTI but my anxiety is high and I feel like my head is in the clouds, and dry (I've been drinking lots of water and vitamins etc). I'm hoping illl eventually come out of this. It's been about 2 weeks now since I've quit these and ever since this is how I've been feeling.
